SOCIAL ACTIONS
Summer action – 2-16 August 2003,
The families from Chernivtsi, Donets'k, Dnipropetrovs'k, Kryvyy Rih, Lugans'k, Zaporizhzhya, Kirovohrad, Simferopol, Yalta and Dzhankoi participated in the action.
The New Year action – 8-17 January 2003,
The families from Chernivtsi, Donets'k, Dnipropetrovs'k, Kryvyy Rih, Lugans'k, Zaporizhzhya and Kirovohrad participated in the action. It was conducted in Livadia at the health centre of "Chernomorie". The medical part of the programme included complete medical examination using modern medical equipment, a visit to the sea-water swimming-pool and aroma-herbs treatment. The excursion part of the programme included the walks along the Yalta quay and visits to the Yalta Zoo which is situated in the mountains on the "Fairy Tales Glade", the Yalta dolphin-tank, the Livadia Palace, the Vorontsov Palace and the Livadia Centre of organ music.
Summer action – 2-16 August 2002, Varna, Bulgaria
The families from Chernivtsi, Donets'k, Dnipropetrovs'k and Kryvyy Rih participated in the action. The participants stayed at the "Athlantics" Hotel with comfortable rooms, a big swimming-pool with fresh water etc. The hotel is situated on the Black Sea shore. At Varna restaurants the participants tasted different meals of Bulgarian cuisine. The excursion programme included sea trips and visits to the dolphin-tank, the health resort of "Golden Sands", which is well known in the world, and to the Cathedral Church.
The New Year action – 13-14 January 2002, Kyiv
The families from Chernivtsi, Donets'k, Lugans'k, Dnipropetrovs'k and Kryvyy Rih participated in the action. The participants stayed at the "National" Hotel, had meals at the "Official Meetings", "Home Cooking" and "Two Geese" restaurants. And, no doubt, they didn't forget the McDonald's. The Programme of the action included the visit to the Presidential New Year Tree Show at the Mariinsk Palace, a visit to the "Ukraine" Cinema House to watch the cartoon called "Athlantida". They also saw "The Cinderella" ballet at the National Opera of Ukraine and visited exhibition of exotic animals at the Archaeological Museum. During the Ancient Kyiv tour they visited the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, the Michailivs'kyy Golden Domed Cathedral and the Ŕndriivs'ka Church.
The New Year action – 13-14 January 2001, Kyiv The families from Kryvyi Rih, Lugans'k, Kirovohrad, Donets'k participated in the action. The Programme of the New Year action included the following:
