WELCOME TO THE WEB SITE OF THE ASSOCIATION "CENTRE"!

The International Association of Veterans of Special Divisions for Struggle Against Organized Crime "Centre" was created on 22 April 2000 and registered by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on 12 May 2000; certificate № 1422.

According to the clause 1.1 of the Statute, the Association is the international social organization founded by the citizens of Ukraine and the foreign citizens to satisfy and defend their social, economic and other interests.

Currently the Association has its branches registered by the bodies of justice in all regions and cities of the republican subordination of Ukraine, sub-branches of the Association branches are in the following cities: Makiivka, Horlivka, Mariupil' (Donets'k Region), Kryvyy Rih, Dniprodzerzhyns'k and Nickopol' (Dnipropetrovs'k Region), Schyolkino (the Crimea), Bila Tserkva (Kyiv Region) and offices in the Crimea (Yalta) and in the Republic of Byelorussia (Minsk), there is also organizing Committees to found the representations of the Association in the Russian Federation, Moldova, Lithuania and Latvia.

The Association membership may be individual and collective. Individual members may be the veterans and the active officers of special units and other divisions. Collective members of the Association may be groups of enterprises, institutions, organizations and the associations of citizens, which recognize the Statute tasks of the Association and contribute to their implementation.

 

The main tasks of the Association "Centre" are the following:

Social protection of the veterans and the active officers of special units, their adaptation to the new economic conditions after their retirement, support of their families and the families of the officers who died.

Financial, material and intellectual support of the special units.

Analytical studies of the current organized crime and the ways of struggle with it.

To finance the activities mentioned in the Statute, the Association "Centre" and its regional branches founded a number of enterprises. Their activities are related to the economic peculiarities of the region. These enterprises function in the different fields:

•  manufacturing of industrial products;

•  processing of raw materials;

•  cargo deliveries (airway, railway and motor transport);

•  trade transactions;

•  tourism;

•  pharmacology;

•  safety of business.

The Association "Centre" carries out its activities in accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine "On Associations of Citizens" and other acts of the legislation of Ukraine and the legislation of the State on which the territory branches and representations are created.
